Q: What should I wear on the volcano tour?

A: Close-toed shoes are a must and always dress comfortably for the weather where you’re staying and bring a light jacket. There are significant temperature changes throughout the island and it’s good to be prepared.

Q: How long is the tour?

A: Because the Island is so big, we have a lot of ground to cover so you should prepare for most tours lasting about 12-hours. Depending on pick up locations, it could be slightly longer or shorter.

Q: Do you pick us up at our hotel?

A: Yes. We want to make your tour experience with us is easy and relaxed so we pick up at most hotels and other accommodations along the Kona/Kohala coast. If you’d like to be sure, you can call or write for more info.

Q: How many people do you take on each tour?

A: Currently up to 7 passengers. We are the leader in small group tours and believe the best way to experience the island and make lasting, memorable connections is in a small group setting.

Q: Will we get to see red, flowing lava?

A: Kilauea Volcano is dynamic and ever-changing so we never know what to expect. Although the volcano is active, it’s currently not erupting, but eruptions could resume at anytime.
